Get an OpenAI key
Get an API key on OpenAI's developer site to use GPT models in Typeside.
OpenAI is the service that provides GPT models. To connect it to Typeside, get an API key on OpenAI's developer site.
ChatGPT Plus and API billing are separate. Even if you subscribe to ChatGPT, you need to add a payment method on OpenAI's developer site to use the API.
Get a key
Sign in at platform.openai.com. You can use the same account as ChatGPT.
On the Billing screen, add a payment method and buy credits. Check prices on that screen.
Create a new key on the API keys page.
Copy the whole key.
Connect it to Typeside
Follow the steps in Connect a service and choose OpenAI. If the key is rejected or it says you're out of credits, see the same page.
